Stormy Daniels the Adult film actress was arrested in Columbus Ohio while performing at the Siren’s Gentlemen’s Club, she is accused of three misdemeanor counts of allegedly touching patrons on stage which is a violation of Ohio law.

Daniels whose real name is Stephanie Clifford shot to national fame after suing Donald Trump and his then attorney Michael Cohen for breach of contract and not allowing her to tell her story of her relationship with Trump.  According to Daniels in 2006 she and Trump slept together while he was married to his third wife Melania who just gave birth to their son.

She posted a $6,054 bail and was released, Daniels attorney Michael Avenatti said this was a set up and the three undercover police officers were the ones who made the arrest after the vice cops were allegedly touched by Daniels.

Daniels will plead not guilty to the three misdemeanor charges, her attorney, Michael Avenatti, said "This was a complete set up," Avenatti told the Associated Press. "it's absurd that law-enforcement resources are being spent to conduct a sting operation related to customers touching performers in a strip club in a non-sexual manner."

Michael Avenatti thanked the chief of police by tweet for dropping the charges but was concerned about the officers who arrested his client. “We appreciate Chief Kim Jacobs’s statement relating to the improper arrest. However, we demand a full and OPEN investigation into the conduct of the officers, including an examination of their social media accounts (some of which were mysteriously taken down earlier today.

According to Avenatti there may be a Trump connection to the arresting officers who he says had pro Trump messages on their social media accounts. He has threatened a swift law suit if the officers were targeting her.
