Dumb Pop Gunman Unleashes Lethal Attack with Son in the Crossfire, $150K Bail

Bozo gunman is now a member of our Whirl's Gun Glub. Joey Foster barely missed shooting his own 2-year-old son when he opened fire on a guy who was attempting to escape a fight by driving away.
Foster, 43, faces multiple felony charges in connection with the shooting last Monday in the 3000 block of Martin Luther King.
Foster hit his target several times. The victim, 37, was taken to Barnes in critical condition and underwent multiple surgeries, but an update on his condition was not available as the Evening Whirl went to press.
Foster had started a fight with the man by hitting him in the face multiple times. Foster then grabbed his gun out of his back pocket and fired several shots at the man.
The victim ducked behind Foster's car to avoid the gunshots and then got in the car to try to flee. Foster walked up to the side of the car and shot into the vehicle, hitting the victim several times.
Foster's son, 2, was sitting in the back seat when he fired the shots. The rear of the car, near where the boy had been sitting, had multiple bullet holes.
Foster was taken into custody without incident after the shooting, police said. He was charged last Tuesday with first-degree assault, armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm and endangering the welfare of a child.
Foster is being held with bail set at $150,000.
He has previous felony convictions for assault, according to police.
