DOWNTOWN---Law enforcement has identified the scoundrel responsible for that deadly hit-and-run that claimed the life of a vibrant 23-year-old outside a bar near downtown St. Louis last month.
On May 4, the Madison County state’s attorney’s office charged Eric Peterson, 29, with obstruction of justice, alleging he tried to conceal evidence by transferring a motor vehicle “for the purpose of scrapping.” Officials said he was not yet in custody. Bail was set at $35,000.
